As with the parent variety, Jack Herer Feminized seeds produce a range of phenotypes, most of which display strong sativa growth characteristics supported by the voluminous flowering and resin production of the best indica. Most phenotypes are expected to gain a lot of height during the flowering period, while filling their tops with long, solid buds that display both their sativa and indica natures.

About one in four plants grown from seed will have a more indica growth pattern, with less height gain during flowering, and large, dense clumps of buds that cluster at each node rather than spread across branches. .

Plants with a higher sativa influence will at least double their vegetative height during flowering and can triple in size. Indica phenotypes grown from Jack Herer Feminized seeds will typically increase in pre-bloom height from 75% to 150% as they bloom.

Jack Herer Feminized buds are made up of unusually large calyxes, with indica dominant plants producing some of the largest we've seen. The main buds of our favorite sativa phenotypes are made up of long chains of puffy, resin-covered calyxes that curl up from the numerous bud sites, giving the large colas a beautiful braided look. Plants with more abundance of indica-influenced buds have a more "bubbly" appearance, because the calyxes grow very densely around each node, then swell increasing in size and stack on top of each other - growing toward the light source more than along the side branches.

When Jack Herer Feminized seeds begin flowering indoors, most plants are ready for harvest after 10 weeks, except for some of the more sativa-prone phenotypes that require up to 12 weeks of flowering time. Indica-dominant plants can produce a mature flower crop in as little as 8 weeks, although growers often prefer to give even their fastest examples the full 10 weeks in order to maximize yield.

Jack Herer Feminized plants produce a mild aroma during the indoor flowering period and continue to maintain a bouquet of deliciously rich aromas and flavor when dried and cured. Most of the buds have the complex pungent-pungent aroma of Haze, which is mixed with different levels of cannabis aromas of earthy Afghani indica and fruity skunk, depending on the phenotype.

Well grown Jack Herer Feminized buds have an incredibly thick coating of resin glands. A bright mantle of THC- and CBD-rich trichomes covers the flower clusters, as well as the single-toed leaves that grow from them and even some of the larger primary leaves. This diamond dust appearance remains on the dried buds, making them look as delicious to look at as they are to eat. Under magnification, a single dry calyx appears to be composed more of transparent resin glands than green plant material.

The trait common to all phenotypes grown from Jack Herer Feminized seeds is intense double-edged potency, as both parts, sativa and indica, are highly represented in their effect. Both parts of the climb strike a sublime balance that is enormously powerful without being overwhelming. Our only caveat is that medicinal users looking for a cannabis strain with a high CBD content and minimal psychoactive effects should probably look for a different strain.
